Blind Ant
Real. This entry is about something real, written from outside the CharliVerse.
Blind Ant is an independent design fiction practice, authored and operated by Charlotte Joanne. It makes speculative worlds, stories, fictional documents, animations and artworks, and documents how they were made. Much of what CharliPedia records was first written down there.
How it works
Its work is hung like an exhibition. A Piece is a complete work; each Piece is made of Objects: a story, a press release, a job advert, a cover. Every Object has a wall label, and where there is a picture or a film, the label is its description, and the description comes first. The picture follows it. Every picture at Blind Ant is drawn, painted or rendered in code; no image generator is used.
Blind Ant's own companies and characters, such as Aegis Dynamics, can have websites of their own as subdomains of blind-ant.com, which say on every page that they are fictional. Aegis has one at aegisdynamics.blind-ant.com.

In the CharliVerse
Blind Ant is a practice within the CharliVerse, not the whole of it. Being fictional does not make something Blind Ant: the fashion houses Iceberg Hosiery, Seamiotics and LULU TOM belong to the world, though Blind Ant can publish the making of their work. Its sister practice is Carrados.
